Downloadable content coming to DS

Nintendo plans on making full games as well as demos downloadable through the Wii and available to transfer to the DS.

Speaking to US newspaper The New York Times, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said the DS will in the future be more tightly integrated with the Wii.

We've no word, however, on whether he means full DS games or perhaps full GBA/Game Boy games will be transferable between Nintendo's hand held and the Wii.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village, a puzzle game which has yet to be confirmed for European release, will have downloadable content in the form of new puzzles made available.

Reggie told the New York Times: "To aggressively drive DS business we need to provide other forms of entertainment to excite the consumer."

We can only wonder at what "other forms of entertainment" means.
