Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky to feature 21 partner Pokémon.
Nintendo has confirmed that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, the latest edition in the dungeon-based role-playing series, is coming to Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS across Europe on November 20.
For the first time in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, Explorers of Sky allows players to become or partner with Phanpy, Vulpix, Riolu, Shinx and Eevee bringing the total roster of hero Pokémon to nineteen and partner Pokémon to twenty-one.
Gameplay follows a turn-based structure as you explore the ever-changing dungeons and encounter friends, enemies and nasty traps. You will be able to meet and befriend more than 490 Pokémon on your adventure, including one of the most recently discovered Pokémon, Shaymin.
As in the previous entry in the series, be defeated in a dungeon and you'll be able to call on a friend to rescue you over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. A successful rescue means you won't lose any money or items.
The game will also feature downloadable special missions via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and players will be able to send a demo version of the game to a friend's DS or DSi over a local wireless connection.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky is scheduled for release across Europe on November 20.
