Heads-up all Pokemon fans. The 2010 Pokemon Video Game Championship Series UK qualifying competition is set to take place at the NEC, Birmingham on Saturday, May 29.

You'll find everything you need to know about taking part over on the official Championship Series website.

Even more exciting than battling the best Pokemon trainers in the UK is the prospect of meeting Team VideoGamer.com. Yes, we'll be sending along our very own Pokemaniacs, led by new boy Jamin and his Tyranitar Dr. Baltar (points for spotting the popular TV series used for inspiration).

We'll also have a video camera so make sure you say hello and you might make an appearance on VideoGamer.com in the near future.
