Tom Orry, Editor - Ghostbusters: The Video Game, PS3
If you're a child of the 80s you'll almost certainly have some fondness of Ghostbusters. The movie is quite rightfully considered one of the best comedies of all time, so the video game that featured the full cast and a script penned by the original team seemed too good to be true. The end result isn't quite the ultimate ghost busting game, but it's real fan service and a great deal of fun. It's just a shame that 360 and Wii owners won't be able to play their version in the UK until later in the year. Still, if you own a PS3 and want a trip down memory lane, you could do far worse. Nothing can beat capturing Slimer in a trap after blasting him with a proton stream.

Wesley Yin-Poole, deputy editor – Street Fighter IV, Xbox 360
I don’t normally suffer from jet lag. Whether it’s going to LA for E3, San Fran for a developer’s gamer’s day, Las Vegas for a piss-up or Tokyo to rumble through Square Enix’s HQ, I’ve always been able to quickly get back into the swing of things. Not this week. This week, the week after E309, I’ve been falling asleep at 9pm and waking up at 3am. Gah. As a result, personal gaming hasn’t happened, but I did find the time to snatch a single Championship Mode tournament on Street Fighter IV. I suspected I’d get my arse handed to me on a virtual plate due to rustiness, but to my astonishment I took my tried and trusted Abel and won a G2 Championship on my first attempt, adding over 100 Grade Points to my total. Look out VideoGamers… I’m coming for you.

Neon Kelly, Previews Editor - Hotel Dusk, DS
It would be a bit of an understatement to say I'm still a tad run-down after E3; I've spent most of the week feeling like one of those half-empty beer cans you find on the morning after a big party. Under the circumstances, I've not been doing much in the way of gaming, apart from a bit of progress towards completing Hotel Dusk. Yeah, I know - it was out ages ago, but I only got around to playing it on my last trip to the States. The flight to LA seemed to be a good time to pick up the trail, and I'm certainly glad that I did. After a few months' hiatus, I'd forgotten how great this game is: the beautiful art style, the snappy dialogue and the mournful undertones to the story that unravels. During our E3 trip, the game also spontaneously formed a new theme song that I sang at every available opportunity. It basically involves singing the words "Hotel Dusk" and "Play it on your Game Boy" to the tune of Peaches by The Stranglers. And yes, I'm well aware that you can't "play it on your Game Boy". But "Game Boy" scans better than "DS". So there.

I reckon the phrase 'the current climate' is going to turn into a one worded jizz bucket after the recession ends.

Anyhow, i've been playing Halo on Mac, even though I'm not a huge fan I was curious to see it online. Turns out i'm still not a huge fan.

Been playing inFamous a lot this week and COD4. Red Faction is lurking in the bedroom to get used quite a lot further into the Summer holidays.

On todays climate on how hot it has been, I think a lot of gaming will be played with an extra fan next to my console to keep the heat down.

inFamous is a very fun game and there is some repetition in the game but nonetheless its a surperb start from Suckpunch. I have already completed it once and already started again to play as the Villain. Cole has these dark streaks across him, like a familiar feature with Fable when turning pure damn right evil. Im gathering its going to take effect to the storyline as of playing the Villain this time around, but I don't think it would be a huge impact in scenes, and different dialogues.

I do credit Zeeke on his comments. His innuendos with Cole does make him worth being around.

Well, you know in Oblivion you could go absolutely anywhere after you escaped from the dungeon? Sacred 2 is the same, just without the dungeon bit at the beginning. Throws you in at the deep end and isn't newbie friendly in this regard.

Action is 3rd person rather than 1st, which these days makes it a pretty niche title which I'd recommend highly to hardcore lootfest fans.

Sacred 2 all week for me. Tried all 6 characters out and settled on Dryad which seems seriously overpowered so I'm using it to get the 'don't die at all' achievement.

Clocked up about 40 hours, nearly finished the campaign twice, and would guess there's another 200-250 hours of 'off the track' gameplay to be getting on with, which is why I bought it in the first place. Very happy bunny here.
