Promises improved 3D graphics, voice-acted cut-scenes and a remixed score.
Square Enix has today announced that Final Fantasy IV is to be released for Nintendo DS across Europe and other PAL territories on September 5, 2008.
Final Fantasy IV is one of the highest rated adventure games of all time and is being enhanced for its first appearance on Nintendo DS. The game will feature improved 3D visuals, fully voiced cut-scenes, a remixed score and additional content never seen before.
FFIV on Nintendo DS will feature new episodes that enable players to explore the unseen lives of the main characters. The game will also feature a new mini-game which lets players nurture their own summon monster and battle with friends wirelessly.
The gameplay is also said to benefit from the capabilities of the DS, including touch screen control, arranged boss battles, a dungeon mapping system and the ability for characters to learn abilities from friends.
