EA: FIFA is the undisputed No.1 footy game

Is delighted with the success of FIFA 10.

EA has declared FIFA 10 as the "undisputed No.1-rated football title on console", following news that the game has sold over one million units in three weeks, a feat FIFA 09 only reached in six weeks.

"We are delighted with the success of FIFA 10 to date and thrilled to reach sales of over a million units in just three weeks – a record launch for the FIFA franchise," marketing manager for EA Sports Trevor Uzice told MCV.

He added: "The commitment to quality stands out: We are the undisputed No.1-rated football title on console with Metacritic scores of 91 per cent on both PS3 and 360. In addition, we’ve seen a staggering 33 million online games played across Europe since launch, which is extremely encouraging."

Uzice also believes that this is just the start for FIFA 10.

"… the launch to date is just the beginning and we look forward to further engaging with our FIFA players and community with ongoing content throughout the football season."

FIFA 10 is out now for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, PS2, DS and PSP.

Don't know about the undisputed No.1 Footy Game comment. As my mate COUGH...rbevanx...COUGH....COUGH tells me there's a prostitute in Cardiff that wanks you off with her feet for £10. Now that has to be the best footy game?
