Codies snare 'Ology license

Will create Wii and Nintendo DS games based on Dragonology, Wizardology and Pirateology.

Codemasters and The Templar PLC have announced a worldwide licensing agreement that will see the creation of original video games based on the multi-million selling 'Ology series of book.

Codemasters will turn Templar Publishing's best sellers Dragonology, Wizardology and Pirateology - each an encyclopaedic journal - into video games for the Wii and Nintendo DS.

The Wii version of each title will centre of action gaming, with the Nintendo DS versions to embrace explorative gameplay in the form of an interactive book. The first title to launch will be Dragonology, expected in the second half of 2008.
