Dragon Quest X MMO confirmed for Wii U

The upcoming Square Enix title Dragon Quest X has been confirmed as an MMO that will be released on both the Wii and Wii U.
The game, which is being developed internally by Square Enix, will be cross-compatible with both platforms and will allow users to play with others across both versions.
However, the Wii U version is unlikely to be a straight port, according to Adriasang.
The Dragon Quest series is currently the biggest selling franchise of all time in Japan. Dragon Quest X is set for a 2012 release, while Square Enix has stated details on the upcoming beta will be revealed soon.
