Nintendo's online gaming service surpasses more than two million unique users who have logged onto the service.
Nintendo may have been late to the online party, but that hasn't stopped its Wi-Fi Connection service from being a great success in conjunction with the Nintendo DS. Nintendo has announced that the service has now logged more than two million unique users, with the total number of game sessions up at 70 million.
Games like Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Tetris DS and Metroid Prime: Hunters have proven a great success with gamers, obviously keen to extend their portable gaming experience into the online arena.
The service went live back in November 2005 and will form the basis of the Wii's online service when the console launches later this year.
