Getting free V-Bucks is a dream come true for many Fortnite players. Whether this is done as a gift or through a refund, no one is going to say no to the premium currency. Fortunately, Epic Games will provide another V-Bucks refund soon, and we have all the details! The refund will be processed early next week.

Another Fortnite V-Bucks refund is around the corner

Epic Games recently re-released The Weekend to the Fortnite Item Shop. The popular artist was featured in the first season of Fortnite Festival and stayed in the shop for over two months. However, the game developer decided to give a chance to those who missed out on him, bringing not only the skin but all the other cosmetics as well.

While bringing these items back, it seems that Epic didn’t double-check the pricing. Due to this, one item currently has the wrong price, and that is why many players will receive a V-Bucks refund next week. This item is the XO Keys pickaxe, which currently costs 1,000 V-Bucks. Epic clarified that the cost is 200 V-Bucks higher, which will be fixed early next week.

If you purchased the XO Keys pickaxe for 1,000 V-Bucks, you can expect a refund within a few days. Epic revealed that the item would leave the Item Shop early next week. Considering that we might get another major update on Tuesday, this will likely be the refund date as well. However, we’ll have to wait for the official confirmation from the game developer first.

“The Item Shop price of the XO Keys is 200 V-Bucks higher than it should be. The Weeknd Bundle is not affected by this. Any players who purchased XO Keys at the incorrect price will be granted the difference back in V-Bucks once it leaves early next week,” Epic posted on the Fortnite Status account on X.

Epic changed the pricing of Fortnite instruments in late March, sending thousands of V-Bucks in refunds. Unfortunately, it seems that some instruments kept their original pricing, which is why we’re getting V-Bucks back.
