On: 3DS
Back to game info

Welcome to Heads-up, our weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Monday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to smash open your piggy bank so you can spend its coin-shaped guts.

Recommended: UFC Undisputed 3 - Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

THQ has taken its time with UFC 3, having given the series a break in 2011 to ensure the game's quality. The third game includes Pride, a more violent version of MMA that allows for extremely brutal combat. We reckon UFC 3 has been worth the wait - look out for our full review tomorrow.

Worth a look

Tekken 3D: Prime Edition might face an uphill struggle to sell, but early impressions are that it's a competent fighter although a bit slim on content. It's also got the terrible CGI movie included on the cart, if you're strangely curious about how not to make a film based on a video game.

And the rest...

  • Jewel Link: Atlantic Quest - DS
  • The Whitakers Present: Milton & Friends 3D - 3DS
  • Empires & Dungeons 2: The Sultanate - PC
  • Luxury Hotel Emporium - PC
  • The Train Giant - PC
  • X-Plane 10 - PC
  • Junior League Sports - Wii
  • Mechanic Master 2 - DS
  • Port Simulator 2012 Hamburg - PC

Wow, none of those titles scream 'must own!' I think I'll be pretty content all the way until March with Skyrim still hooking me like the Crack and Reckoning breaking up the adventuring. Until Mass Effect 3 pops it's pretty head around the corner, I'll be busy perusing skills trees and conjuring fireballs from my finger tips.
