Capcom's 3DS game the first to reach milestone.
Capcom has shipped over 1 million units of Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition worldwide, the publisher has announced. The fighting game launched alongside the 3DS in Japan, North America and Europe.
According to Capcom, the milestone was reached due to the game's appeal to both long-time fans and newcomers to the series.
Capcom claims its game is the first 3DS title to reach a million units shipped.
We awarded Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition 7/10, praising the port but not overly impressed by the controls on the small handheld.
Next up for Capcom on the 3DS is Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D, followed by Resident Evil Revelations and Mega Man Legends 3.

Well that's not bad! Certainly indicative of the demographic that's picked up a 3DS. I guess it hasn't quite sunk in to the wider public consciousness yet... or they're all waiting for Layton :P
